School Council

The council work with the school community to achieve the best outcomes for students. It contributes to good school governance so that school resources are used efficiently, and community expectations and the school’s priorities reflect the needs of students.
 

At Mount Helena Primary School we have an active School Council whose composition is made of the Council Chair (community representative); 5 parents; 2 staff as well as the Deputy Principal and the Principal.

The School Council is actively involved in the strategic direction of the school and reviews performance data and funding allocations. It sets the annual Contributions, Fees and Charges and the School Dress Code.
