Year 6 Camp 2022
This year our Year 6 students went to Ern Halliday for a fun-filled camp. Each of the activities were designed to challenge students. It was a camp with the motto, 'Challenge by Choice'. So, students were able to set a goal and work towards it. Often, our students succeeded beyond their original goals!
Some of the activities students participated in included Big Swing, Rock Climbing, Crate Building, Lost Pilot, Archery and Orienteering. Students went outside their comfort zones and achieved many rewarding personal accomplishments.
Each student also had the opportunity to 'wow' us with their talents on the Tuesday evening at the Year 6 Talent Quest. Max Couper wrote a poem dedicated to his camp experience. It's a great way to sum the camp experience. You can read Max's poem here.
