Curtin Speech Program
We are fortunate to have formed a partnership with Curtin University to provide speech therapy and intervention to students in Kindergarten to Year 2. This program also provides whole class sessions targeted at comprehension and vocabulary.
Each week, we have 4 pre-service speech pathologists, a mentor speech pathologist and a qualified speech pathologist attend our school on Tuesday's to work with students in Kindergarten to Year 2.
Also part of this service are information sessions for parents throughout the term and a handover report for children involved in the intervention program.
The intervention sessions are 1:1 and are specific to children needs.
